Overview
Learn to master (or develop) bioinformatic and biostatistic tools to analyse data from various biological fields of investigation (population genetics, genomics, proteomics, evolution, etc.). As well as learning how to use these tools in a specific research theme of one of these fields.
Courses (30 ECTS)
This orientation offers a unit of lectures composed of mandatory courses (practical and theoretical), many restricted choice courses adapted to diverse biological topics, as well as free choice courses.
Master projects (60 ECTS)
Several laboratories of Section of Biology and of the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics offer Master Projects as well as other public institutions (e.g. CJB, Museum, etc.) or private companies (industry).
